Privacy Policy

Snoozebuy is an iPhone app that puts a pause screen in front of the shopping apps and websites you choose. It's built so that the personal parts — your goal, your rule, your 30-day list, the money you've kept and which apps you pause — stay on your iPhone. There's no account and no sign-in. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Snoozebuy is a habit tool, not therapy, medical care or financial advice.

Snoozebuy ("we", "us") runs the Snoozebuy app and snoozebuy.com. For anything about this Policy or your data, email support@snoozebuy.com.

These are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We can't see them, and they aren't backed up to our servers:

• your onboarding answers (what you buy on impulse, when the urge hits, your monthly estimate);
• your goal and your rule;
• your 30-day list (names, prices, links and emoji) and what you decided;
• money kept, urges resisted and pause-screen counts;
• your pause schedule and the apps and websites you chose to pause.

Snoozebuy uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) with your permission. When you pick apps and websites, Apple gives the app opaque tokens rather than names, so even the app can't tell which apps you chose. Nothing derived from Screen Time — app or website identities, or when you used them — ever leaves your iPhone.

Purchases

Apple processes your subscription. RevenueCat, our subscription service, receives a random app user ID and your purchase history so the app knows whether your subscription is active. We never see your payment details.

Anonymous usage counts

The app sends generic events to PostHog, our analytics service, such as "onboarding completed" or the number of pause screens shown and closed in a day. Prices are sent only as ranges (under $25, $25–100, $100–500, over $500). Never sent: app or website names, item names, exact prices, your goal, your rule, or anything about feelings or triggers. These events aren't linked to your identity.

If you join the waitlist on snoozebuy.com, we store your email address, where you came from (for example a creator's link) and when you signed up. Nothing else. It's kept in Google Cloud Firestore in the United States and used only to email you when Snoozebuy is available. We delete it when you ask, or once the waitlist has served its purpose.

The website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Google Cloud) keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the service.

Shopping habits can be personal. We don't collect consumer health data on our servers: anything about your urges, moods or triggers stays on your iPhone. If a future feature ever needed such data to leave your device, we'd ask for your explicit consent first and update this Policy before shipping it.

• On-device data: deleting the app deletes it.
• Waitlist: email us from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it.
• Purchase records: kept by Apple and RevenueCat as long as needed for your subscription and the law.
• Usage counts: kept in aggregate to improve the app.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the Swiss FADP or California law), you can ask to see, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and object to how we use it. Email support@snoozebuy.com. Because most of your data never reaches us, there's usually very little to hand over.

Snoozebuy is meant for people aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

If we change this Policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects what leaves your iPhone, we'll tell you in the app first.
